Our own story
Our own story
Kent Creative was one of the first creative agencies in the country serving the nonprofit sector. Feeling that the nonprofits had unique communications needs not properly understood by advertising agencies or PR firms, Jon Kent created the agency in 2001 to fill a void in the professional marketplace. At that time, Jon was already a 12-year veteran of the nonprofit sector and had risen up the ranks in fundraising and communications at the American Cancer Society and Vanderbilt University Medical Center, respectively. Now in it's 17th year, Kent Creative has been the chosen storytellers for more than 60 nonprofit organizations nationwide. The agency has landed 64 "Addy Awards" from the American Advertising Federation, national gold medals from CASE, multiple Telly Awards and other professional honors.

“Kent Creative’s greatest strength is no simply that they always produce excellent, top quality creative materials. Beyond that, their real forte is the ability to grasp complex problems in biomedical research, to capture the value and excitement of science, and to translate information in ways that inspires others to support it.” — Ray Dubois, MD/PHD Executive Director, Biodesign Institute of Arizona State
“Kent Creative has an innate sense for capturing the essence of a nonprofit. I don’t have to go over things with them step by step, and that saves valuable time and critical resources.”— Mary Partin, C.E.O. The Dan Marino Foundation
