Location Scouting Report

Summary: On October 11, my DP, Roger Pistole, and I spent an hour scouting General Singlaub's home-9039 Keats Street in Franklin, TN. The house is located on a quiet street in a modern subdivision. We heard little if any street sounds during our visit. We found two possible shoot locations-our first choice is detailed below. We were able to photograph the clothing he will wear and believe that we also found a suitable, comfortable chair. At the end of our visit, we were able to meet General Singlaub while he rested in his bedroom. We have no concerns about this location.

This is the room we have selected for the shoot. It is the first room on the right when you enter the General's home. The ceiling is high enough and the room wide enough to accommodate our green screen. We would block the window,  raise the chandelier higher and block the ambient light from the opening to the left.

We feel like this chair is the best candidate. It's stately, solid, comfortable and tight enough to allow for minimal movement.  The General's daughter thinks this is a good option and also said that, regardless of which chair we use, he will need a pillow.

This is the reverse angle to the shoot room. The opening into the General's library provides the depth we will need for camera placement. This location also allows for minimal interference in the home. The library can also be used for monitoring.

This is the outfit that the General would like to wear. It should work well with green screen. Tie, shown below, is optional.

Quiet street in a subdivision. In addition to the driveway, parking on the street does not seem to be an issue.

This is an alternate shoot room. It's large and spacious but there are lots of windows to contend with and our gear would disrupt the household more as the kitchen and dining area shares the space.
